Indeed, the Stoke City microbes had their fun today.

Interesting substitutions. We brought on our three least athletic players, so we lost a bit of athleticism and Stoke started to take control, finding space far more easily.

Could easily have scored a second in the first half, when we were really on top.

I hate all this talk of "deserving" to win. It sounds like Frank Lampard after England are eliminated on penalties.

We didn't deserve to win because we couldn't put the ball into the net a second time despite great chances.

So basically spuds can overtake us now with their two games in hand of they win those. ah, its like we're holding out our hand to them and saying, "here, take this third place for you".

They were odd substitutions. I don't know why Ox didn't come on for Gervinho. Too much pressure for someone of such little experience?
