437 times in his Arsenal career, 298 times more than Ramsey :-)

You're joking, right? I don't think he's made that many passes :-P

Re: Stoke
Does anyone, by some small chance, have stats for how many of Szceszny's kicks Sagna has succesfully nodded down and with how many attempts?

I doubt anyone has that stat, but what have you been observing?

Re: Stoke
Gervinho is driving me mental. How can a player be so good at getting into good positions, but so woeful in producing anything from them? It's infuriating.

That seems to be the norm in our game plan. Every game, the ball goes back to Szceszny and he knocks it out to the right for Sagna to knock down. He's being doing it quite well too. Even from goal kicks... Sagna's not the biggest guy as well that's why I've been thinking about it

Re: Stoke
Nothing new here. How we manage to repeatedly make so little of such promising positions is incredible.
Infuriating from Gervinho. Couldn't quite get on the end of that great cross, then tries to beat his man a second time, then almost puts his team-mate into trouble with a shit short pass on the edge of our box. Otherwise, he's working hard and not playing too badly. Seriously needs to wise up though.
Otherwise fine from everyone. The midfield three are quicker and more talented than their opposite numbers so no surprise that they're controlling things. It could all be lost so quickly though just from one long ball. We have to keep this intensity up.
Pleased to see that RvP seems sharper today.

Re: Stoke
Actually I've noticed it too. Every game, Szczesny kicks are met by Sagna headers. It works well for us.
About the game, we've been playing quite well. Yossi is working really hard and so is Gervinho, back to pre AFCON form for him. Gets to good positions, produces fuck all. Hopefully RvP gets 3 more to win that Golden Boot thing. Ramsey has had a fine game so far and so has Rosicky,
