Re: AC Milan vs Arsenal
Milan were supposed to play to our strengths but I think we've fucked ourselves pretty bad here. Our wingers were nowhere to be seen. We're wasting too much time on the ball and the only way we're passing is backwards. Defense has been shaky, Szcz's delivery poor. Nothing has worked for us so far. Hope a half time talk puts some sense in the boys' heads.

Bring on the Ox, but for whom?
Anyone take your pick, I'd say for Ramsey, don't remember seeing him for the last 45 mins...

Jason Morrison wrote:How shite are we!?? This is our worst performance of the year. Not a single shot, defence all over the place. Ramsey, song, walcott all ultra anonymous attacking wise. Fuck it why do we have to perform the shit on such a big occasion!
Rosicky had a shot in the first 5 mins
Seriously though, very worrying. It's not surprising though, it shows how much we rely on our wide players now, and that clearly isn't going to work in tonight's conditions. Walcott hasn't got a chance on that surface. No creativity at all from the midfield, Rosicky has tried to play the same pass about 6 times and it only worked once. But the real issue is the defending (or lack of). Vermaelen looks like he hasn't played CB for a while (which is true). Koscielny was great, so him getting injured was a massive blow. Second goal was offside though.

Also the second was offside...the first just shit all round...
Other than that I cannot comment as I have seen 15 mins tops...

You didn't miss much tbh, we haven't look at all dangerous... their 2nd might have been offside, but to be honest it was coming either way...

Re: AC Milan vs Arsenal
We have been murdered. Milan have destroyed us but what's worse is that we're helping them out. Don't like to say it but we have bottled it. Big game, big atmosphere and we're lost.
Bad on the ball, even worse off the ball. Defence a shambles and missing Mertesacker's organisation. We are 45 minutes away from being knocked out of the Champions League unless we score and do not lose by more than a goal.
Worst performance in a big European game in years. But 45mins to put things right.

We didn't have many options due Per being out, but when was the last time this defensive 4 played together ? Maybe the San Siro isn't a good place to reacquaint.

Agreed I could have seen two gone in in the time I have been watching...just seen the second on replay...offside defo
See one thing I think Wenger has fucked up on is they are a very physical side and he seam to have our 'big boys' playing,
I for one would have seen pure pace give us an edge over Milan...
