yeah ,about that. You can see the quality, but a few times he's slowed himself down on the ball, cut inside and wandered around. Shades of Diaby or Ramsey from 2 yrs ago.Michael Foster wrote:marks out of 10 for gnabry so far?
6 for me...
He's going to be a good player,though

Re: Arsenal v Stoke City
We have various problems at home, one of which being the impatience of the crowd. Our ability to take the lead then lose it is also a chronic problem, something we've done regularly since we've been at the new stadium.
Gnabry not ready to be starting in the league to be honest. Lack of understanding but that'll come with time.
We've got no chance of winning the league with one striker who has to play all season.

Strange mentality we play with at home. It's like we need to be in hostile territory to stay focused and determined all game.John Foxall wrote:We have various problems at home, one of which being the impatience of the crowd. We've just let them camp in our half for the second half. Pretty shocking lack of reactivity. If they're passing it about around outside our box, it means we should be doing far more!
Zero atmosphere in the stadium as ever.

Weren't at our fluid best but 3 very welcome points put us at the top of the table.
I thought Flamini was outstanding today.
Gnabry looked better in the 2nd half.
Bring on West Brom

quiet second half, too much bad passes for my comfort but that said, we soaked it up well. 3 goals from 3 set pieces hahahahaha talk about rubbing it on to stoke.

Re: Arsenal v Stoke City
Meshaal on Ramsey on the FB group - "Really happy for him. Playing with a lot of confidence now and looking great but lets not get too carried away - take away the goals (Vermaelen syndrome) and despite the work-rate and all the good things he does, he can still be a little sloppy with his passing at times. Needs to iron that out before he goes from being a very good player to a great player."
Or am I being too critical?

On Giroud - Off day or was his limitations exposed a little today?
Its not about him not scoring today, I felt Huth and Shawcross just about had him under control. Might also have been a lack of service.
