What is your prediction?
Re: Arsenal vs. AC Milan, 2nd Leg
But all the pace in the world won't mean much if we don't have a world class striker to put any half chance away or to make the right movements in and around the box to find those pockets of space. And none of those front 3 are in the same league as Robin when it comes to that.
And it won't mean much either if Milan sit extra deep with a packed defensive structure to negate that pace. They know they can sit back, soak up the pressure and hit us on the counter attack and we've seen that our wide players can be pretty ineffective when space is denied, especially Theo in recent weeks/months.
The Ox is thought of as a future central attacking midfielder as well so if our midfielders are all out, why not see what he has in this type of game. The last half an hour though, that's when we may see complete gambles and new formations.
Overall, I just hope we win the game. Going through is a very, very long shot, but if we can win the game and keep the momentum going to Newcastle then that's all you can ask.

i agree this talk of 5% is rubbish, it's more realistically less than 1, but we may as well go all out. agree with what you have said, but if they sit back, it'll give the midfield more room with which to operate. Either way we have to gamble whatever we do, milan will get chances on the break, there is nothing we can do to stop that really. it is nice that this is a kind of no lose game and we have seen that poor results havent affected our league form. as you say see at half time and then make changes appropriately, that may involve taking off rvp to save him for the weekend

Re: Arsenal vs. AC Milan, 2nd Leg
Get a couple of goals mid way through the first half, they'll start shitting themselves. If its 1-0 or 0-0 or worse at half time, take off RVP and rest one or two others. No point trying to win the game from such an unlikely position and potentially have our fight for top 4 fucked over.
I can see them grabbing an early goal on the break but we still end up winning 3-1. That's what my heart says. My head says 6-1 on the night

Re: Arsenal vs. AC Milan, 2nd Leg
this is going to be such a weird game to go and watch, the sensible part of me is not expecting much more than the end of a CL run but the eternal optimist is going for the 5-0 (which is currently 90-1 so i'm definitely sticking a quid on that)
at the end of the day its the only competition we are still in although we are really hanging on the ledge by our finger nails but we're not out yet.....

Still, I genuinely am intrigued as to who will play in central midfield if Rosicky doesn't make it... Ozyakup I guess? Or Yennaris? Any thoughts?

At least we can have some fun watching this game, rather than be nervous for once.

Is Coq injured or something? Otherwise if we have no options, he could slot in at DM and song can move forward inro arteta's position?

Arsene regurgitates that he might change formation.

The six striker scenario is looking more and more likely everytime I read Wenger's pre match quotes.

Surely that's a joke. If he did that we'll get annihilated. And I for one don't feel like watching us get beaten 8-2 again.

Re: Arsenal vs. AC Milan, 2nd Leg
6-1. If Vermaelen plays I fully expect to see a bangalanger from about thirty yards which rockets in. Possibly a couple Gervinho tricks in the box to get a penalty. I wonder if Szczensey will go up for any corners late in the game
Like has been said, if we go at them hard from the whistle and get a couple of goals in the first half they will begin to panic bigtime.

Just placed a few bets on myself. The pick of them are:
Arsenal 4 - 1 @ 33/1 £2
Arsenal 6 -1 @ 200/1 £1
Arsenal 6 - 1 Ibrahimovic first scorer @ 800/1 £1
Easy money.

Just got to make sure we don't get hit on the break early on too. Suppose that's the risk though when you're chasing a 4 goal lead lol.
I'm very much looking forward to this game
