Re: Man Utd Post Match - WTF Arsene
I don't want to criticise Arsene too much, but two points
- Why Djourou over Yennaris? You see them in training every day, but Yennaris is clearly better at RB. We saw it last time and we saw it today. Why Djourou? Slow and lumbering against the excellent Nani.
- Why take off Ox? He just set up a brilliant goal and was our best player all day. Bring him off to bring on the worst player at the club? Bad form Arsene, very very bad form.

Re: Man Utd Post Match - WTF Arsene
Yennaris had a good debut.
Park finally got a game.
AOC was on fire.
Plenty of positives to take from that. Don't expect us to make it to the top four anymore so not much disappointment.

Also Rosicky had a fine game, Ramsey will need to up his game if players around him keep putting in such performances.

Three consecutive losses for Arsenal is a disgrace!

Yeah we came out well in the second half. But I'm seething about that result, and how it could've been avoided, I really am.

We just don't look like a top 4 side anymore. the first half we were timid and scared, like any other lower team coming up against giants. we look more mid table than top 4 and need some serious quality to get back to where we once were. god help us when we lose rvp

Re: Man Utd Post Match - WTF Arsene
Ramsey - too much flair too little creativity , holds the ball too long.
Djourou shouldn't be in the first team together with Arshavin
Walcott same as 4-5 years ago nothing new, still frustrating as ever.
Wenger -1

^nope. we are...a 5th/6th spot team. maybe the injured players coming in might push us for fourth but that will only be a push. we dont look like barging into the top four until we....SPEND SOME FUCKING MONEY.

Re: Man Utd Post Match - WTF Arsene
The complaints we could make about Wenger's Arsenal in the past few weeks could've been made at any time for the last three and a half years.
I presume with the Ox/Arshavin substitution he was just trying to be too clever. We really can't afford that anymore. I don't get annoyed because of Arshavin, I know he is a truly pathetic athlete who no longer offers anything to the team, I just think that Arsene is being a muppet. Age, experience etc are clearly not important when someone has talent like Oxlade-Chamberlain.
People are still claiming that Arsene spending money will solve the problems, it clearly won't. His ability to spend money has never been the key factor in success during his time at Arsenal. We need to do everything better. The argument that we need a change of manager is as strong now as at any time in the past few years. He's not doing a bad job but I'd love to see someone else try to take us forward. The repetitive recent seasons under AW have proved that he is clearly not the man to do this, good memories or not.

The Ox was probably one of the two positives in this game, the other beinf Yennaris. I don't understand why Wenger chose the Ox to be substituted.

What positives exactly? Yes ox was good and yes yennaris played well when he came on but apart from that I don't see many positives. I also saw some real negatives. Fans were shit, arshavin who wenger had all faith in was shit and he wasn't going to play well when he comes on to an echo of boos. We were the better team in the second but it wasn't enough and so much when we are on top we concede a goal.
Yes, we have many players out but I still dont believe we have enough quality to finish in the top four. We are lacking creativity and really new to replace the deadwood ASAP. 3 losses in a row and now five points behind Chelsea... We need an effective attacking player ASAP.

Rarely see such obvious disquiet from a player about a substitution. RvP shouts 'no' as Ox replaced by Arshavin. Substitution changed game

Really? Did that happen?

True, spending money doesn't guarantee to rid us of all our troubles.

It looked like that to me. Even RVP thought the sub was mental.

Still in shock about the Ox/Arshavin sub...
Ramsey is trying hard but I think he really needs a break. We didn't play great, but we did have chances that should have been put away

Even though I don't blame him, he shouldn't be doing that as captain. I imagine that would've immensely damaged what's left of Arshavin's confidence, seeing one of his own teammates reacting negatively to him coming on.
I'm normally on Wenger's side in these discussions, but not today. Honestly, what the fuck, Arsene? Taking off the Ox, seconds after he made a wonderful assist to a fantastic goal, only to be replaced by Arshavin (possibly the worst player in the squad) is what cost us the game. Arshavin lacked the creativity and defensive work rate that we saw from Chamberlain. This is evidenced by Arshavin all too easily letting Valencia into the box for United's second, as well as his constant gifting of possession. Poor decision making on Wenger's part, and it allowed our opposition to take over the game.
