Surprised no one's bothered to do this. We're still not convincing, but a good win nonetheless.
It worries me that dross like Aston Villa can score 2 at the Emirates.

I created another thread. I'll just copy and paste everything from there so that the admins could delete it.

We are finding it hard to score more than one goal from open play at the moment.
Hopefully we find the scoring touch again.

Ramsey needs to work on his finishing.

Mert is coming closer to get a goal for us. Unlucky the last few games.

Sagna is back!

Any team with pacey wide midfielders can take us on currently, though with Sanga coming back, at least we'll be good on one flank. Lets see how long it takes for Gibbs to get back to full fitness. But having Arteta and Bac back as well as Henry is a massive boost for now.

Who knows, we might just sign Baines and Hazard in the next two days. or no one at all. But as long as RVP stays fit, we will always have a chance.

Great win for us obviously. What a second half performance from pretty much everyone. Theo, Ramsey, and Rosicky turned up. RvP equaled Bergkamp's goal tally at Arsenal. We were terrible defensively conceding those two goals and having Fabianski didn't really help. How nervous is this guy? Great to see Arteta, Henry, and Sagna back as well. We didn't reallu create that many chances for RvP in open play though, which was a worry. But a great win and hopefully we go on a great winning run from now till the end of the season and secure a CL spot.

When you consider that Villa was playing Keane, Bent, and Agbonlahor at the same time, I'm not surprised we conceded. That's not a world-class trio, but dangerous nonetheless.

My money's on no one at all. At least we've managed to win though, we've looked incapable of beating anyone the past 3-4 games.

And Djourou stays away further from the first team now that Sagna is back and Le coq showing some good form and talent.

Rosicky stood out for me.

He and Chamberlain's direct running makes such a difference.

Walcott picked up after his goal which wasnt as lucky as the commentators made out, he had just hit the post after all, he deserved it.

Song was out of position defensively alot, just doesnt have enough disclipline.

I forgot to mention the Coq. What a player. He was a decent winger even.

Coquelin was steady, nothing more, its his ability to be decent in so many positions that impresses me, not his overal performance, he was caught out a fair few times today.

He almost got another assist today and it turned out to be a penalty.

Yes, but it was still one of his poor performances.

Walcott: ''Robin Van Persie told us at half
time: "Come on we want to win this trophy,
we must win this game!"

Why do our players not know this before the game, why do they take our game for granted until its too late?

Just giving him some extra credit. He might be off defensively this season. But he has got the most assists in our team this term.

A good contribution in attack doesnt cancel out any bad defending which might have taken place, he is equally if not more meant to be a defensive player than an attacking one and that one pass doesnt cover up for anything else, to think that it does is, imo stupid.

I wouldn't expect too much. If he was fit he would've been so useful with Arteta injured and Ramsey tiring, but as usual you can never rely on him. Really hope he does come back though, with Wenger not signing anyone we could use all the bodies we can get.

Van Persie has been an exemplary captain. First good captain since Patrick Vieira.
