Forget the win, how about third clean sheet in a row? Never heard of from modern Arsenal team!

How old is Sterling? 17? Looks a very decent prospect for the Scousers.

Re: Arsenal vs. Liverpool
The only time Arsenal have recorded three successive clean sheets at the start of a top-flight campaign was 1924/25. Despite winning all three of those games, the season soon went downhill, and Arsenal finished 20th.
In 1903/04, while in the old Second Division, Arsenal's goal remained unbreached in each of the first five league fixtures - the team also racked up 21 goals in that time.

Re: Arsenal vs. Liverpool
Good save by Mannone. Shelvey shot going top corner.
He looks a lot bigger than a couple of years back. Maybe it's just his bright top.
I've seen a lot of keepers get in trouble running into oppoition players when going for crosses. De Gea an obviously example, but Reina in this game also. Mannone has done it a couple of times, but won't hold it against him.

Steady, we were hardly faultless in defence. It's a nice statistic but against a better side we might have conceded.
I enjoyed the link-up play between Podolski, Santi, Gibbs and Diaby in particular. I get the feeling that Cazorla will be MOTD most matches.

Still a little rusty in defence the whole team is still finding its feet.....
But look at it this way we have improved and just beaten Liverpool at home and kept another clean sheet....
How's it going to look when we really get going?
