On my nerves since we scored the goal really. A bit like liverpool last time. Ramsey is shit.

VERY important win, good defensive work. Got lucky with the disallowed goal, but fuck 'em, I didn't see them complaining when Saha scored last season when it should have been disallowed.
Third place is ours for the taking.

Re: Everton vs Arsenal Post Match
An almost perfect evening results-wise for us. Its a shame Van Der Vaart got a late equaliser for the scum but we can't really complain.
Tonight's performance left a lot to be desired from an attacking point of view and I felt the midfield really didn't get into the game apart from the first 15 or so minutes. Defensively we were superb especially TV and Kos. Sagna did well too, especially in the second half.
Overall, another result grinded out when we didn't play particularly well- a good sign I guess.

How long has it veen since we defended a 1-0 lead from the first half? A settled back four makes such a big difference.

Re: Everton vs Arsenal Post Match
more important point is the gap between us and chelsea is 6 points now with chelsea and tottenham playing next week.
if we finish 3rd we will have a more successful season then the last year.

March 2010.
Bloody good feeling after getting that result. TV and Kos were brilliant. And by God can Kos make a run? If we ever fall short in midfield give him a go. He'd rip defenses to shreds.

A draw at home to Stoke is a shit result. Just hope it doesnt give them some momentum to work of

That's very unfair on him. He hasn't had a start in ages, then gets one away to everton which is a tough place by any standards, and on top of all that he's played out of position.
Any also, FUCKING THIRD PLACE!

Third place is ours for the taking.
Is it fair to call it a disallowed goal? SZCZ stopped due to the flag I thought. More like a chance denied for Everton?

Everton & Liverpool have lost seven home games between them this season, Arsenal the only team to win twice on Merseyside

Agreed, however it would have been nice for them to have dropped all three points at home!

My stream was pretty terrible, so I'm not sure if he did stop or not.

Um, he didn't have the greatest of games, but calling him shit is just a silly thing to say.

I felt dirty after Drenthe's goal was disallowed. He was a mile onside. But fuck them. Great game for the most part against an Everton team in good form.

Why feel dirty? we've been on the end of some shit decisions, we are due a bit of good fortune. As they say, it all evens out in the end
