For the 20th window in a row Yann M'Vila is a done deal

7.5m was always the minimum for Ba. Chelsea, as usual, putting in a high bid to try and wrap it up quickly.

We should chuck in a bid, if only to show fans we are active in the window!

I heard about Djourou going (thank you Hannover) but who is mad enough to take/pay Squillaci?

By the way nothing against djourou the guy has been really loyal to us and you can't buy that these days, he just wasnt good enough to justify those wages

Right on.....listening to Wenger in the press release he sounded like it was a 'getting rid and don't care' attitude....which is a lot better than covering up for how bad players are...

Chamakh to West Ham making rounds on twitter and in the daily mail. If we offload chamakh, squillaci and djourou (love the guys attitude and professionalism) it would be great.

If Squillaci, Dj, Miquel (on loan) all leave, surely we must get a CB?? I would go for Yanga M'Biwa, can play CB, RB and DM.. still young as well.

Hasn't M'biwa just signed a new contract with montpellier? Hangeland might be another option he's on a free in the summer so would be relatively cheap now

Nani?

If Walcott is indeed going central, we'll need a winger.

Yeah if Walcott is going central and Gervinho is going to the Cup of Nations then I would have thought we'd need a wide player. Not sure the Ox is ready to be played every game right now. And if he or Podolski got injured we wouldn't have many options.

Thing is are we going to get rid of players and actually bother to sign anybody or just get rid of the dead wood.....
Ba has already slipped from our choices...and for 7.5 what a bargain he will be....

Thing is with Ba is that the alleged crazy agent fees and signing on fee demanded would have taken the fee to 15-20m. He was whoring himself to a few clubs too (Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea) so was likely after the big wage which Arsenal don't really do. A month ago or so I wanted him but after his actions in recent weeks I don't care we haven't got him. Probably will be cast out of Chelsea when a better target (Falcao) is available or his agents will try engineer another move to make more agent fees.

Whats the betting he gets 6-10 goals in the second half of the season, he really isnt as bad as people have made out, just not good enough for us.

Would you take Benayoun on a 1-2 year deal? He's back at Chelsea

No, personally I wouldnt. We have plenty of similar players to him and he isnt getting any younger, I dont see what he gives us that we dont already have, cant believe he didnt get in the West Ham team more though if he was fit.
