Then we'd score a 100mil for him.
Re: January Transfers
By hearing him talk such shit, I wouldn't mind not having him. He's inviting all the teams all over the world to get him.

To be fair, why not? Maybe we need more grandiose characters in the dressing room. Maybe we need big egos, players who want to win, instead of docile sheep like we seem to have at the moment.

He wants to play for a big club, I see no fault in him trying to attract attention from potential suitors. He's ambitious, you can't blame him for that.
Re: January Transfers
How long has this rumor of hazard? I have no illusions as always I guess not finish sign a case like Gary Cahill

Yes maybe we do need players like him, but these kind of players are not loyal and we'll have to sell him 2-3 season later to a bigger club and then all this talk about 'feeding club' returns..

So pointless thinking about possible transfers. Makes it all the more painful when wengers goes and signs Phil Neville or Shuan Wright Phillips instead...

Chelsea eye move for Walcott - The Sun
I know, shit source and all but I wouldn't be against it if it were to happen.

Go and try to regain some form there? He is certainly not in the right environment here...

Re: January Transfers
I hear Zenit have agreed personal terms with Arshavin but Arsenal are insisting on a loan fee so the deal has stalled a bit.
Re: January Transfers
There it is then, I hope he goes. They are reporting it on Sky.
You guys say we need all players available but then criticize the shit out of him!
Yes he may have a spark of talent somewhere but if we can let him go now then do it; why wait till summer to start the clean-up? Then it all gets protracted and August comes without anything happening.

We can't afford to be letting players go without replacing them. You just know that the moment we agree to this and he leaves, the Ox will get ruled out for the season or something. This is just what happens to Arsenal. If we let him go now I will be baffled and extremely annoyed.

Re: January Transfers
If this happened in January and we moved for a new player, fantastic. Same if it happened in the summer. Because it's obvious his time is/was up. But to do it now, with no replacement? Makes no sense.
And I know he hasn't done much this season and is maybe the biggest underachiever in the Wenger reign, but apart from making a bit of money (maybe enough to cover Djourou's pay rise) then I can't see how else we benefit by letting him leave now rather than wait for the summer.
Even if he only manages to be involved in a few more games this season, there's a chance, even a small one, of him doing something positive. Our squad is small and weak as it is and I might sound contradictory with 'he's done here but we could do with him' but I would probably trust him to produce something special in the final 3rd than I would Rosicky, Park, Chamakh, maybe even Benayoun, who Wenger doesn't really seem to trust much anyway.
I expect if this goes through Wenger will say he wanted to play before the Euros, but I don't care about his personal wishes. Let's see what the next few hours hold.
