Re: Arsenal v Crystal Palace
Straight red for violent conduct is a 3 game ban. I think a red for a professional foul is a 1 game ban but I might be wrong.
Any game under the FA counts towards the game, European games don't count.

thats what some of the internet forums seem to be saying. i really hope its a one game ban. we need his spanish ass against liverpool and man utd. the upcoming games just make you drool. really need the whole squad togather. as for today, a hard won win. crystal palace played well closing down on us. the last few games we haven't been able to dictate the game. but 3 points and top of the table is what matters. a well deserved credit to the team for keeping a clean sheet even with a man down.Meshaal wrote:Straight red for violent conduct is a 3 game ban. Re: Arsenal v Crystal Palace
The Chelsea game counts for Arteta so nothing major there, I don't think he was going to play anyway. I think it's a one game ban because the red wasn't for violent conduct, but rather a professional foul, either ways, it was joke though because Marouane was on the half way line and even if he was on the goal line, we all know he'd still miss. We shouldn't have let ourselves in such a position in the first place though.
As for the game, thought we were poor, Gnabry started the second half well and was unlucky he was taken off after the red. Speaking of which, I thought we played a lot better after it, defensively switched on and Ozil came into life. My man of the match was Sagna, put that substitute Palace player Bolsie/Holsie/Couldn'tgiveafucksie in his back pocket. We really should give that man a fucking contract. Credits to Szczesny too for the initial save that hit the crossbar and the one that came from the resulting corner. Kept us in the game! Wasn't beautiful, but who cares, we won, kept a clean sheet, are five points clear and we can laugh at Spurs. Now for the rest to drop points and us to enjoy.

I would not really say we were poor today...just tired....few sloppy moments here and there...but if you are to win anything....these are the ones to come through....

Any news on Flamini please?
Would be very bad to be missing him for the upcoming games.

Been reading on twitter 2-3 weeks! Probably the worst 2-3 weeks to miss in the entire season.

physioroom says no return date. this is worrying news and at the same time a bit funny in the sense that who could predict that flamini was going to such an important squad player. to think ppl actualy scoffed when arsene signed him for free.
i really hope one week is enough, defo need him against liverpool. (suarez and sturridge). they always seem to be playing two strikers. koscielny will need his help. mertsacker is a great defender but speed is not one of his forte.
