Hopefully this game gets hom proper kicked off in the premier leagie and he now goes on a run pf good games. Cause when santi plays well, Arsenal plays well(attacking wise only ofcourse).

Re: Reading vs Arsenal
saw a replay of the two goals we conceded. unbelievable how Mertesacker did NOTHING. Barely moved. Yes, terrible pass by Gibbs on the first one, but you still have to move if you're a defender. wow. good win though!

Re: Reading vs Arsenal
Great game, finally something to cheer about! Everything was flowing everyone attacking.
But as Gary Neville said at the half 'Reading ..it's just sad" .
So yes, only Reading but we needed that. Why we couldn't step it up like that against Bradford?
There is something to be said for squandered chances being opportunities lost forever.
We were way more clinical tonight in finishing, whereas vs. Bradford there was Gervinho. Getting into great positions then f*cking it all up.
A bit worrying about the 2 goals- both Gibbs errors. The bad pass for one, and then playing Le Fondre(?) onside after we had done a pretty good job of playing the offside all night before that.
Bit of switching off there.

Enjoyed the game, but it just wouldn't be Arsenal if we won too comfortably though.
By the way, did anyone see Vermaelen and Sagna going at each other after the final whistle? What was that all about?

Re: Reading vs Arsenal
I didn't see it as tuned off at the final whistle but just read this on Twitter...
Bacary Sagnaā€¸@Sagnaofficial
There is no problem between TV and myself..i was angry as the reading's player pushed me and walked on me while the ball was out..that's it

Re: Reading vs Arsenal
Yeah Sagna was arguing with a reading player and TV stepped in to tell him to let it go.

Re: Reading vs Arsenal
Good attacking display, defending not so much. We were troubled in the first half and then we conceded two stupid, avoidable goals in the second. But that was sexy football and I thought Poldi was very involved. The one on one Theo missed is what he can give us playing up front. He can score many from such situations and the goal he scored was class. Santi definitely MotM. Finally, truly enjoyed a match. We played very well against West Brom, but we needed two penalties, one of them being a dive, to score. This game was needed.
