Fabianski is a decent keeper... Not really sure what case people have against him. And why is everyone insistent on playing Cazorla on the wing?! He's a midfield man!? The M'Vila deal collapsed a long time ago. If we were in for him we would have got him by now.

Wenger and the club in general (arsenal.com) seem to be placing alot of faith in Diaby for the coming season.

Wonder what makes Wenger think Diaby will be able to stay fit this season - something that we don't know about or just wishful thinking?

I genuinely think that they know something we don't... I mean, before the start of last season we were saying the same stuff about RvP...

The strange part to me is that I dont actually see that he is good enough to start most games with the players competing with him, unless he has been shoehorned into a new role and is performing well in training? But I doubt that at his age.

As a squad player you would say he is good to have, as is Ramsey, good options who could fill in for 3 or 4 games at a time and decent off the bench, but my first statement stands. He doesnt make my first choice midfield thats for sure.

I know the game was dead and buried.... but look at that, he strides up the pitch. Red card or not, he's got a huge stride. Powerful on and off the ball. We all know he can pass the ball well too.

It's just a lot of people have forgotten his ability after seeing him out for so long. I can't seem to find the pic but the ankle that the Sunderland player broke, a few years back, last year was visibly bigger than the other. Must have been shit for him going through all that.
I'd give him a chance... AW rarely makes mistakes with midfielders and when he puts his faith in a player so publicly then he's got my support too.

He's got all the tools Marko just needs a good year without injury but the question is will that ever happen, debatable.

I personally dont know if he is better further forward or not.

Sagna said recently that if Diaby was fit he would certainly be France's best player by now.

I still have doubts on his character. In past games, when things go wrong, he is not there to be counted.

He does seem like he hides in his shell a bit. But apart from Ox and Wilshere which younger player in the past has stood up to be counted when the going gets tough? Theo? No way. Jenkinson? Gibbs? It's only natural for him to be "shy" (if I can put it that way) plus his injury issues. It all adds up. I get really confused as to where he would fit in best. Next to another DM or further up the pitch? He's a box-to-box sort of player so either would be ok depending on how disciplined he is.
