Re: Movies
Yeah true. But it's still fucked up that every great damn player ends up at Boston or New York (yankees ....God I hate the yankees)

Re: Movies
I highly recommend reading the book, Jeff. It really is quite amazing just how much Billy Beane's management philosophy is similar to Wenger's.Jeff Chouest III wrote:Go see Brad Pitt's new movie Called "Money Ball"
It is about a baseball, General Manager (GM). This movie reminds me soooo fucking much about how Arsenal is set up and it's fight to keep players and compete at the same time.
It's a baseball movie, but It really isn't. They don't show baseball the whole time. I promise. It's about Brad Pitt's character hiring a Economist from YALE and how they put formulas together to make a great team with players other teams either overlooked ...and the ones that simply weren't wanted.
Great movie. It's about how the baseball sysytem, just like and football system, is fucked up and flawed.
I haven't seen the movie yet but I am going to this weekend.
My guilty pleasure movies:
Independence Day
True Lies

I forgot that I really enjoy "Weird" Al's UHF. It's a terrible movie, but it's fantastic.

I remember when I first watched it, and I was thinking, normally I hate this type of movie, but I'm enjoying this!.

I don't think any actor has more guilty pleasure films than Arnie. Another two great ones I've seen again recently are Last Action Hero and The Running Man! So many great one liners.

Yeah me too. I liked 2 alot. 3 is always my favorite though. Sam Jackson and Bruce Willis combination was super good.

Die Hard 2 is awful. Okay not awful but bad.
I recently watched the latest Tron and was pleasantly surprised. The Daft Punk soundtrack helped though.
Also watched the Happening a few days ago. Fucking awful. How Mark Wahlberg is an actor is beyond me!

Happening is good for me. I like Shyamalan's films. I know. The Village, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable.. all.

The soundtrack was quality. One of the best things about that film, along with Jeff Bridges going "radical maaaaan" randomly at one point. Two of my favourite soundtracks with recent films are Tron: Legacy and Drive.
