Jenson Pais wrote:Martin O'Neil has always made if difficult for Wenger. It's like he has some sort of personal enmity with Wenger.
He was a pundit on ESPN or ITV towards the end of last year and openly said he doesn't like Arsene Wenger personally.

Re: Sunderland vs Arsenal
Bendtner is an idiot. I hope Sunderland buy him in the summer.
I feel good about this game. It is tough, but if the squad goes in the with the right spirit, we can win it. We need to be all-energy in the first 20 minutes. They're tired and will prefer a slow game. We need to wear them out quick and them dominate the rest of the game. Forget about Milan for now, this game is bigger.
2-1 Arsenal.
My lineup:
Sagna - Mert - Kos - Verm
Song - Arteta - Ramsey
Walcott - RVP - Ox
Surprises? No... didn't think so. I think Arshavin and Rosicky will be more effective against Milan than against Sunderland, where the energy of Ramsey and Ox will be useful in wearing them out early. But I can see Ramsey and Ox starting both, and that's okay too.

Benayoun tweeted "good game guys" after we beat Chelsea. I don't care what he tweets.

"We need to be all-energy in the first 20 minutes."
We need to SCORE more than 1 the first 20 minutes if indeed we are dominating. I feel its like we start well, then if we score, its only 1 then the opposition get back in the game as we dominate but dont score again

Re: Sunderland vs Arsenal
on the team news…
Everybody should be available for Saturday and we have no new injuries - that's good news. So we can prepare well for the games this week. We have a very important week coming up with three different competitions, the Premier League, the Champions League and then the FA Cup. So it is good to have no new injuries.
on Gibbs and Chamakh…
Both are in contention to be in the squad, there is no reason anymore to keep them out. But I will have to decide that tomorrow. Chamakh is now at normal fitness and Gibbs is getting closer as well.
on Jenkinson…
He is not far from full training, maybe two weeks. [He is running] normally.
on Frimpong…
He had surgery on Thursday night unfortunately. He had what we have seen so many times; one cruciate [goes] and then the other as well. It was a case for Pires, for Edu and now Frimpong. I believe that it is unfortunate. The fortunate situation is that we could have surgery straight away and that this threat over his head is now gone. It's a tough time because he was doing very well at Wolves. But hopefully we can get him back in the Autumn.

Re: Sunderland vs Arsenal
We will have to put our chances away.We had opportunities against Bolton but we failed to capitalise.A win tomorrow will be a big boost for the FA cup tie next week.Lets see what kind of team plays tomorrow given the midweek match in Milan.

Good to see Gibbs on the bench. Not confident about this game but fingers crossed we can get the three points.
