Back on the road for arsenal....the chance to take our away streak to 12...another chance to stay top of the pile regardless of results!! swansea have a habit of fucking us up and just the right time..but like last time a 2-0 win would be just what we need
team news..
Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest fitness updates..
We rested many players yesterday at West Brom and some others players came back like Arteta, who played 90 minutes in his first game, and Bendtner. We have to check everybody tomorrow [Friday] morning but, from last Saturday, all the players should be available.
Tomas Rosicky…
Rosicky should be back in the training squad on Monday so he has a chance to be available for the squad on Tuesday. Saturday is too short for him. But we all love Rosicky so it's good to have him back.
Cazorla is still a week or so away..Theo has had a stomach op with good results but will be a good 3-6 weeks out according to some reports...
could be another shot for gnarby down the right..

Re: Arsenal v Swansea
Central justification? Controversial!
I am usually fairly confident against Swansea as they play a similar passing game, so it is hard for them to beat us.
The big question in the line up is right forward with Theo out and Gnabry having played 120 mins during the week. Could be Gnabry, Ozil, Ryo or even Ramsey (if fit).
Will be good to see Wilshire after having a rest on the weekend, and likely to be less targetted and maimed by Swansea compared to other teams.

well I thought a new setup to match days would be pleasant on the eye....
agreed with jack...at times with tackles it looks only one away from having a lengthy spell out...
I should think anyone can slot in on the right for us...not expecting to much from Swansea today...
and I get to watch the whole game today...finish work at 1 wahoo!!!
Need to get some links up and running later.

Re: Arsenal v Swansea
captain Ashley Williams remains doubtful with an ankle injury, and Pablo Hernandez is out (hamstring).
Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini face fitness tests, while Tomas Rosicky is not quite ready to return.
Santi Cazorla, Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Theo Walcott all remain on the injury list.

That's how I would line up, not a bad thing to have a more solid looking midfield away at Swansea - lets not forget we could EASILY slip up here and need to be solid from the start. Be good if Williams Is out.

Re: Arsenal v Swansea
Similar passing game? Hard for them to beat us? We've lost twice to them out of four league games since they got promoted. They've often outpassed us and been much more efficient at keeping the ball and pressing us. It could be a hard game yet again.Jonathan Prendergast wrote:Central justification? Controversial!

I wouldn't be happy with either Gnabry or Ryo in a big league game like this. We need to find another way because neither is ready to start in the league for us at the moment.

Agree with Mike's squad. Throw a midfield of Arteta, Ramsey, and Flamini, and have Ozil and Jack on the flanks.

I have a feeling Ozil will score his first Arsenal goal today.

Re: Arsenal v Swansea
It's all happening in the league today.
Two goals for Villa - a great free-kick and a royal cock-up by the Man City defence.
Hmmm, would be great to win this afternoon and push on with our good form.

Re: Arsenal v Swansea
Difficult to decide which one to watch. Amalfitano has been a good signing for WBA, well apart from the missed penalty against us on WednesdayMichael Foster wrote:if you can watch the united game......brom are making them look stupid!!John Foxall wrote:It's all happening in the league today.

Aston Villa capable of scaring most sides, though Man City shot themselves in the foot for at least one of the goals. It should make us feel better about the opening day defeat, even if it was still a bad day for us.
