Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Poor goal to concede after looking slightly better than them.
I think it's inevitable, even if we play well, that there will be moments when Hazard, Oscar and Mata cause problems. Thus the importance of staying on one's feet, which we've not been doing enough imo.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Lucky for us that Torres is a shadow of his former self. Can't believe we almost conceded two goals to that money-seeking muppet.

We really don't look like scoring right now, Gervinho poor upfront when he gets the ball.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
I don't think Gervinho has done anything particularly wrong, there's nothing for him to work with up front.
Podolski is the quietest of our players at the moment.
Gibbs the latest player to dive in and completely miss it.

On the replay of the goal, our zonal marking sucks. Total free header for Luiz...

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Not sure that's drawing the right conclusion from the evidence, either on Gervinho or Diaby. Why would Diaby have made the difference on his own? He often gets caught on the ball and is hardly twinkle toes unlike the players we're up against. The truth is Chelsea are implementing their game plan well.
Well played Gervinho. Hopefully that will stop people from throwing the baby out with the bath water. He's not perfect but he's a livewire.

Yeah, I don't think that Diaby leaving the game was the reason on it's own, just in the spell (10-15 mins) after he left it looked like our midfield was being outplayed.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Jenkinson our best player so far. I couldn't see where our goal was coming from, I must admit, a brilliant turn and shot from Gervais. We didn't play well, they pressed well on Arteta and stopped everything and gave Podolski no space to work with. We were playing bad, but somehow we went into half time level. We can regroup and do something about this. Oh and their goal, Koscielny should have done better than that.

But his substitution was shortly followed by us conceding. Logically Chelsea were really boosted by that and were exactly where they wanted to be, able to counter-attack from deep. Oscar and Hazard became even more difficult to handle. It took us time to get effective possession in their half again.
