Is Van Persie really injured?

If I remember correctly van Persie only got injured once playing for Holland when Chiellini went through him. Otherwise he was always getting injured playing for us, against Blackburn, Man Utd etc.

BBC are reporting that Van Persie is likely to play tonight. Really not sure if that's reassuring or worrying.

Uhm, not really, the injury against Blackburn kept him out for half a season, so did the Holland one. Then the one against United, he broke a bone in his foot and out for the rest of the season, that game was in November.

Not seen anything new on if vp will play or not tonight.....you could just imagine parker fucking him right up or something...

How can that be considered good news, we're at risk of going to Anfield with ONE centre-back fit.

Id rather play with Song at CB than DJ- he is perhaps the worst defender I have seen play this season at Arsenal . He makes the Squid look like Maldini in his prime !!!

How he got a contract extension is beyond me , he is fucking useless a defender , maybe he walked in on wenger getting noshed off by Gazidas and is holding the pair ransom...

He might have to with Arteta, although I'm not convinced he can handle the job. Also, with Rosicky and Ramsey poss. out moving Arteta would still mean we're short one player in the centre of midfield - why I think we can't move Song.
