Re: Arsenal v Sunderlan (FA Cup)
----------------SZCZESNY---------------
SAGNA----DJOUROU---VERMAELEN---GIBBS
SONG------------ARTETA---------ROSICKY
CHAMBERLAIN---van PERSIE------GERVINHO
I am normally a Walcott fan, but he doesn't deserve a starting place with his current form. The rest of the team picks itself basically, with Gervinho being back and both Koscielny and Mertesacker being injured. Hopefully it isn't just a rumor that Wenger dropped the F-bomb, and even more hopefully, the squad now knows that there is absolutely no more room for screw ups.
I'll remain an optimist and say 2-1 to us.

Re: Arsenal v Sunderlan (FA Cup)
I think we need more energy in the midfield. Why not play both Song and Coquelin there?
--------------Szczesny---------------------
Sagna---Djourou---Vermaelen---Gibbs
-----------Coquelin---Song---------------
---Gervinho---Arteta---Chamberlain--
-----------------RvP------------------------
I'm also think none of our playmakers (Ramsey, Arteta and Rosicky) has shown promising form recently, so maybe RvP can play instead of Arteta with Park in front. We can afford having two forwards, with Coquelin and Song in the middle.

Ramsey is really the only one of those players who hasn't shown form lately. Arteta is our best player in terms of keeping possession (although he certainly didn't show that on Wednesday), and Rosicky was, for me, the only player in an Arsenal shirt who had a half-decent performance against Milan.

1-1
Flappianski error for Sunderland's goal and a late Arsenal goal to ensure an annoying replay.

Coquelin or Sagna as a LB then, shame because that means Djourou will surely start.

Squillaci over Miquel on the bench... seriously.
Still, apart from Fab in goal it's probably as strong as we could go.

Ugh, Flappy! Hope they prove me wrong, but I don't think we're gonna win this

Me neither. But if we can get a draw it won't be all bad. Replay in 3 days is not exactly ideal but there's no chance of a late season fixture pile up so we're ok there.

Pleased with this team.
The Coq and Ox (future Arsenal fanzine/pub name) give us the kind of fearless energy that was missing on Wednesday.
Hopefully that front three will shine.

Coquelin fucked. Again.
Kudos to Seb Larsson. Only one looking to kick it out.

How about Arsenal defender injury bingo?
Looks like Coq has done his hammy. Here comes Squillaci, hooray!

I've never known so many injuries at one club, we permanantly have at least 4 or 5 players out. Mental.
