He did play well, looked a little bit off but he was strong in the tackle. Will have to look again but not sure if the dutch skunk got away from him or Giroud. Nonetheless, would like to see him more often.

It was good to see him come in and be able to be reliable. Per and Kos are still obviously the first pairing but it was still reassuring.

At the moment of the header, RVP was behind Ramsey and in front of Giroud.

When a defend is behind the attacker on a corner, there is not much you can do.We play zonal. RVP made the run from the top of the box, while Giroud came out from near the goal line to go for the corner.

Can't blame Giroud for it.

I just accept that defender set pieces is not a 100% game. It's a matter of inches, and when everything goes right of the forwards, there is not much the defence can do.

Certainly wasn't Vermaelen's fault.

Came off his shoulder anyway, and went top corner. Jammy cunt.

Looked at it again, the jammy cunt didn't get away from anyone but Giroud could've jumped higher, Ramsey shouldn't mark at corners he just looked at the ball coming towards him and well TV was a bout to jump but both Giroud and that skunk were airbourne Very Happy

Nobody's fault, if anything it's van Persie's fault and he should be jailed for it.

He did OK but nothing spectacular enough to break a solid, winning partnership. It is reassuring that we have a backup as good as him.
