Giroud was gimping around, all he would have done is given the ball away, or fired a shot wide and high. Then you'd be complaining that he passed to a gimpy Giroud when there were better options.

Disagree, for a professional footballer that was on a plate for Jack and he should have scored

I see no reason to complain for him chosing to do what I've just said I'd rather he did. If Giroud misses the chance because he's 'gimpy' or whatever you called it doesn't make Gervinho's choice to pass to him in the position he was the wrong one.

Yes it does. Giroud may have been in a better position of the pitch, but he was still carrying an injury and could barely walk.

Agree to disagree then. I just simply feel that passing to Giroud was the wiser option.

Not being able to walk didn't stop him from getting into a good position, so I see zero evidence to say that he couldn't take a shot from where he was. I also don't expect Gervinho, under pressure and in a good position, to be thinking about whether someone was injured or not 5 minutes ago before he passes to them.

Anyway, the game's back on and this is boring me. If you think Gervinho did well there, that's just fine. I don't and I've explained why.

I don't care about any of this as long as we win.

I feel like the ref is purposely not calling fouls on Cazorla now, knowing that he messed up with the penalty

Should have had 7 or 8 so far. Just hope we don't regret not converting these chances later.

Major positive - atleast we are creating chances.

He's been very involved, but that son of a bitch Gervinho couldn't finish if the ball was already in the back of the net.
