break against them down the right held up and a lovely chip into the back 4 between the right back and center from caz let the ox get away in the channel to run and have a dig back across the keeper...
well worked goal...

im not usually pessimistic, but think we still need one more goal to make sure of winning this game.

Re: Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
lol at this on BBC football
If Arsenal manage to keep a clean sheet today, it will be almost 10 hours of football when the opposition have drawn a blank at the Emirates. Wojciech Szczesny must be quids-in with all the bonuses.

and such dedication to the club too. I think he's a part of reason Wenger is still grinning and not as pessismistic as some gooners on twitter. Will probably start against Liverpool. Great chance for us to make a statement next week still being top(hopefully). I don't know why, but in recent years, I get this feeling we can do Liverpool even if they become as good as Brazil haha

Great! Now just a Chelsea win or draw on the day after tomorrow and it'll be a good week!

Re: Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
Been a good weekend overall. hoping for a Chelsea win to end this Man City run, but a draw would also do. We've been passive recently and creating little, not complaining though. We've been very efficient and the clean sheets are ensuring that whatever goals we do score are enough for us to win the games. Though Laurent and Mikel were great, no need to say Ox was MOTM and Cazorla had a very good second half. Ozil was quiet, but did all the little things right and that's good enough.
The Ox's first was a Ramsey'esque late run into the box and a Bergkamp-esque composure to finish it off, the second was sex as well.
Szczesny with another crucial save at 1-0 to keep the lead and give us a chance to build it and we did.
On a side note, Arteta's performance today is why I prefer him over Flamini. We didn't lose anything defensively, we were as focused as ever and kept another clean sheet, but his clever, metronomic passing contributed a lot to our build ups.

Haven't posted here in ages, nothing much has changed though, Michael still talking to himself 90% of the time in the match threads.
A good win, but I'm still expecting to be heartbroken in the end. It's the hope that kills us. I'm really really really hoping that the reason we step off the gas in all these games is a conscious and tactical decision designed to conserve energy instead of us just not being able to maintain our energy levels for the entire 90 minutes.
We never seem to put teams like this to the sword once we get ahead. Are we not capable or are we simply sticking to a plan that's been very effective for us? Please let it be the latter.
