this on bbc football...

GET INVOLVED via 81111 - Swansea 0-2 Arsenal
Marlo, a relaxed Gunner in London: "Relax fellow Gunners. Classic rope-a-dope from Arsenal. Swansea have NO goal threat despite possession (0 shots on target). Close? I dunno what game everyone else is watching. Our squad has no depth? Our kids (Gnabry & co) beat WBA away, who didn't do too badly today."

Rope-a-dope? The patient tactic adopted by Muhammad Ali when he beat George Foreman in 1974's "Rumble in the Jungle".

3 points.

5th straight Premiership win.

9th consecutive win in all competitions.

12th (or 11th) consecutive away win.

Most points by any Premier League club this calender year.

A clean sheet would have been nice Sad

He's trying to jinx us.

Wilshere's tackle made the first goal. Ramsey is in the form of his life. Assured display from Flamini, Koscielny, Mertesacker and Gibbs as well. Szczesny made the catches when we needed him to.

Biggest positive has to be Gnabry. Really came alive towards the end of the first half and we got to see what the fuss was all about. Based on this performance, not very far behind Oxlade-Chamberlain right now though they are obviously different in a lot of ways. Gnabry strikes me as a mix between Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain (and that is some combination!).

Slight negatives - with Wilshere on the left and Gibbs bombing forward, we are a bit exposed down the left and obviously our inability to keep a clean sheet is a bit frustrating.

Thought everyone did well today. Giroud needs a break, but even when he's not at the top of his game, he still offers a lot. Our defence looked solid until that goal and we had to work hard against a team that keeps possession too much and presses extremely well. Thought Theo's pace and intelligent runs were missing, too many times Ozil looked up for a run and never found one and reverted to his plan B. Gnabry grew into the game. At first he was prudent, then he started taking on defenders and I thought he came a close second to being MOTM after Ramsey. Did well defensively as well. Tempted to have a player ratings today, the defenders would have got higher if they hadn't slept for Swansea's goal:
Szczesny 8.5: Excellent saves, came out well to claim the high balls
Sagna 7.5: Very very good
Koscielny 7.5: Same as Sagna
Mertesacker: 7.5: Same as Sagna and Koscielny
Gibbs 8: Loving this boy, had yet another great game. i wonder if Baines is regarded as a better left back because of his goals and assists or actual all round game.
Ozil 6.5: Quieter than usual, but then again, Swansea pressed well
Flamini 7.5: Solid game, tactical yellow card to stop a Swansea break
Ramsey 8.5: The kid is on fire
Gnabry 8: Grew into the game, scored an important goal, took on defenders and helped the defense, this guy has future at Arsenal
Giroud 7: OK, a bad miss in the first half, but worked his socks off as usual
Wilshere 7: Good game, his determination led to the second goal

It feels great that we are winning, and in particular as we showed some real style in the lead up to those goals.
