Despite the pitch, the best day of the tournament.

Libya 2-2 Zambia
Equatorial Guinea 2-1 Senegal

Senegal equalised in the 89th minute to remain in the competition, the Equatorial Guinea right back then scores a 25 yarder in injury time to put EQ through and Senegal out!

Senegal are out. Moussa Sow equalised in the 88th minute against Guinea and they scored back 1 minute after that haha.

Guinea won 2-1 and they qualified. Senegal lost 2 games and are out.

coulda had a hattrick already this game. Really hope he scores at some point or he's going to come back to us with poor confidence...

Guilty of a couple of sitters in that game I watched the replay today and was stunned at the one he smashed over the bar

Didn't see Gervinho's misses, but it is nothing new tbh.

Should we start with Ox and Theo and have Gervinho on the bench?

No. Gervinho is important. He must start. Ox on the bench for now, lets not get carried away.

I wouldn't start Gervinho. I'd rotate him in, but I wouldn't have him as an automatic starter.

Gervinho just took the ball from the halfway line, ran into the box and slid the ball past the keeper into the far post. He's been learning from Henry.

The keeping is hilarious. That 'save' off the Drogba free kick and even for the goal, he basically opens the entire goal for gervinho

Drogba missed a penalty in normal time, an awful penalty that went way over the bar.

Penalties now. I fancy Zambia to win this. Hope Gervinho scores his.
