arsenal vs bayern munich, emirates, bst 17:45

as football matches go there isn't another heart thumping or mouth watering than this but then again i said the same about dortmund. we come to this game as underdogs, not many people believe that we can win this one and i hope we will prove them wrong. well the same people also said that we aren't title contenders and yet after 26 games we sit a point behind the league leaders.

we sit on healthy second place on physioroom.com rankings, a change since most times we seem to be leading that board. that means vermaelan, kallstrom (who?), ramsey, theo and diaby who i think probably has a personal chair and bed in our physioroom will be missing. we are really going to miss theo's pace on this one.

i hope podolski and rosicky starts as i find bayern has one of the best wingers who put in a fantastic workrate, attacking as well as tracking back.

it was fate we got dortmund, champions league runners up and it was fate we got bayern because this is arsenal and we don't like the word easy. Come kickoff i'm hoping for a win. COYG

Sanogo to start!!? Giroud on bench.. Is this about his recent sleepover?

^ Not exactly due to his sleepover I believe, but his antics and hampered performances on the pitch lately are probably a consequence of it. And undoubtedly he is fatigued. pretty certain no-one predicted Sanogo starting just till 1 hour ago, but hopefully Wenger has seen something special in Sanogo that we haven't yet. despite being at home, we need to be cautious and not let Bayern score. 1-0 win and I'll be a very happy man.

I like the prospect of Sanogo and it will be interesting to see his performance today, but very surprised to see him start.
We will surely miss walcott today, hope Ox will make me forget about that.

sanogo to start could be an absolute masterstroke...if he can put in a good work rate this could be just the thing bayern fail to see and contain....get it wrong tho and its wenger to the slaughter again...dammed if you do dammed if you dont!!!!
