Well, I didn't expect us to romp away with the title even after going five points clear at the top.
Despite that however, we can't afford for this drop in form to go on any longer.
Our success this season has been dependent on scoring the important goals when they really mattered. However, with Ramsey having a bit of a lull and Giroud looking unlikely to score, the question is where are our goals going to come from?
That has to be the biggest worry, given that Liverpool and Man City are scoring pots of goals at the moment. Anything other than a Liverpool win in their game offers us a chance to go back to the top. It would do us some good psychologically.
Good to see Santi back in the starting line-up. His sidelining has been an unfortunate result of the Ozil signing. I'm torn on this one, he's one of our best footballers but sometimes balance requires changes. Walcott needs to do more to justify his place. Both he and Giroud need to put away chances. Whereas Giroud works hard, I don't think we can ever say the same for Walcott, for a young quick athlete he could do far more to help the team when we don't have the ball. Just look at how hard the robots worked for José on Monday night. I'm not worried about Wilshere's absence. He's not much use out on the right and is weak defensively. He's neither quick enough to help us out going forward or going back from that position.
We really need to get 6 points from this game and the Newcastle game. With goals from who though? If we're really serious about winning the league we need another forward fast. Getting Podolski back as a second-half substitute and possibly some game time for Gnabry will do us good. Ultimately though you can see why we were so interested in Higuain. Someone who scores the kind of chances that Giroud doesn't and Walcott doesn't know how to.

Frustrating half. Need something to change, Giroud and Walcott still don't look like scoring.

Ho hum. Same old failings. No one looks like scoring..
Over-elaborating, choosing to pass when we should try to dribble though.
Both Ramsey in the 25 min and Walcott in the 46th that led to their goal. Why we don't try to carry it across their 18 yd line, and at least draw a foul or something, instead of pass it...

Fascinating game taking place between Man City and Liverpool. A draw is the best result for us but it's interesting to see how Liverpool get on at a ground where everyone has been thumped this season.
Man City miss Aguero, he's such a menace.

WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT POLDI!? Great performance after a long spell out. Only minus is he runs more or less like a meatball, needs to get more fit.
Enjoyed the match, slow first half, silly defending for Cole's goal (that rhymes a little )
Good comeback, really can't complain since we are top.
A mate of mine said L'pool didn't deserve to lose, gonna take a look at that game too..
Merry x-mas you wankers

It was like a 2012/13 reunion, with Santi, Poldi, Walcott and Giroud combining.
Have to say, Sagna's crossing is great lately!
Hopefully this come from behind victory gets some momentum going.

Speaking of West Ham, they are running riot and have scored 2 goals in three minutes against West Brom. Nice to see Poldi and Theo scoring again. With Ramsey out, and Giroud not scoring lately, we need goals from other sources. Luckily, Theo, Poldi, Santi, and Ozil know how to score and they will score goals until our early season heroes get back to form again.
