Arsenal Cognoscenti Forum
Do you think it would be better if all threads were in 1 section?
I only go to the Arsenal section, so non-arsenal, other sports and general discussion threads never take hold.
I wanted to post about United's game against Sociedad this morning, but there are no real threads that would get responses as they are in another section which people don't check.

yeah, i've noticed! not that i've been posting much lately, but it's weird that there's hardly anyone around anymore... surely there's only about 5-10 people posting on a regular basis? oh well, at least we don't have any obnoxious cunts in the group haha

Re: Arsenal Cognoscenti Forum
It's been a few years now. I think it has been fairly consistent with activity over that time, with some quiet times and busy times.
Never as busy as the Facebook Group obviously.
No doubt Dan Macarthy, Ben Fairthorne and Natasha would attract more activity. But it would just be fighting amongst ourselves!

Dan was a good laugh. I'm not sure about the Facebook group, doesn't sit well with me somehow. I guess it's not what it was anymore...

Most of the people whose insight I appreciated and went to games regularly are still listed as Admins on here, not sure how much they monitor the group if at all but none post anymore.

I think it would be good to have some Non-Arsenal posts. Let's just put them in the Arsenal section.

Re: Arsenal Cognoscenti Forum
Hi guys, checked in this morning for the first time in a good few weeks and saw this thread.
I moved all the non-Arsenal threads into the Arsenal one and moved General and Other Sports together. I could move them into the Arsenal section too if people want? Whatever people prefer, especially as there's only a few regulars now who keep this alive.

Re: Arsenal Cognoscenti Forum
would love to have bit more activity here, maybe we need to have some kind of online group event. hmmm how about we all go and troll some tottenham forum.
lets say, we choose a tottenham forum. all of us join their forum under assumed names which we decide beforehand so we know who is who. and start trolling. would be fun if a bunch of us do it since we preety much hype whatever each one is posting
maybe a man utd forum since we are playing them soon

Re: Arsenal Cognoscenti Forum
To be honest, having a slightly large group does bring in a wide range of perspectives and also does keep the forum ticking(not that it isn't already, but at times is a ghost town as has been mentioned above). I'm of the idea that any person can contribute to the discussion(even the broken clocks being correct twice a day and all). But I think the only problem with having big numbers of people is of people creating troll accounts and getting into the forum. This is an interesting one, and personally I won't mind if admins invite people from the FB group over here, but I'd like to go with what the majority(from our forum ofcourse) feel about it.

Not really, I usually post the odd thing on Twitter but you might see 1 or 2 of the others post something on the old group on FB.Jenks1981 wrote:Mario out of interest, do you and the other admins post elsewhere now?

That's a pretty funny idea. Would certainly get everyone checking in on this forum to see what trouble we've been causing!deep.gurung wrote:would love to have bit more activity here, maybe we need to have some kind of online group event. hmmm how about we all go and troll some tottenham forum.
