Yaya Sanogo

It's official.

He's signed. Subject to formal registration process.

Was tempted to write "Official: Yaya Signed"

So, will he be the next Nicolas Anelka? or Niklas Bendtner?

Hope he turns out to be at least a useful player.

What? Sold for a huge profit or a pain in the arse?.....

All jokes aside this could be a very very good signing......he has a lot to his game....

Agree. I see his potential. Very athletic.

But in the past few years Wenger has chosen many who have fallen by the wayside. Worth a punt though I think.

He has indeed....needs to start getting the mix right between youth and older wiser players....players over the last few seasons have let Wenger down more than we as a club to the player.....sanogo seams to have a good attitude about him which can benifit us....would love to see him break into the first team and stamp his authority into the footballing world....stick two fingers up at the doom and gloomers also!!

Sanogo scored yesterday, a composed finish according to what I read on Eurosport. We could well use composed finishers in our team. Too many times in recent seasons (well, not the last two, I though we created fewer in the last two seasons and scored at a good rate) we create chance after chance and end up drawing or losing to shit teams.

Players like Anelka and Adebayor looked promising, and they turned into fantastic goal scorers and 25m players (at least in the short term).

Then we have the likes of Vela, Bendtner, Denilson that looked promising, but didn't progress like we'd hope.

The Catch 22 is, if they do stamp their authority into the footballing world, they start thinking they are bigger than the club and become trouble makers.

Apparently he's been rushed to a Turkish hospital out of fears that he might've broken a rib in training.

I have a broken rib and it's been five months and I still have some pain.

He scored a goal today in the U20 Quarterfinals. Poachers goal but he looked really lively and he's quicker than Giroud.

He looks very athletic. He could be in the senior squad this season, filling in for Giroud + new striker signing.
