How the hell did Fiorentina let Montolivo leave on a free transfer? What an absolute steal for Milan.

Ian Wright will take his first steps in the world of coaching by joining League One side MK Dons as a coach, the BBC has reported. The former Arsenal striker will work with the forwards under manager Karl Robinson.

Wright worked on an informal basis with the club earlier in the season but has joined now in an official capacity, as has former Wimbledon and Luton Town striker Mick Harford, who replaces the retiring John Gorman as assistant manager.

Yet to obtain all his necessary coaching qualifications, Wright will only work with MK Dons through the week due to his weekend media commitments while he continues his coaching courses. Robinson noted that Wright will attend all MK Dons’ midweek games.

Wright scored 185 goals in 288 games for Arsenal, becoming the club’s record goal scorer until he was surpassed by Thierry Henry. Wright also won 33 England caps, scoring nine goals, and played for Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Celtic, amongst others.

Germany-Israel

Podolski, Mertesacker and Yossi in starting XI

Neuer - Lahm, Badstuber, Mertesacker, Boateng - Khedira, Kroos - Podolski, Özil, Müller - Gomez

Replace Kroos with Schweinsteiger and maybe Gomez with Kloe and you have the starting XI of Germany in the EURO 2012.

Mvilla could miss Euro's due to injury picked up tonight. This could be good for us if we're really interested. His price won't rise due to good performances at Euro's and we might be able to make the move sooner now. One can only hope.

How far is Robin from Holland's all time top scorer (Kluivert, I think)? Can he break his record?

Kluivert has 40 goals, RVP has 25. He can score at least 15 more before he retires from international football.

Although, he scored two today, I don't know if those were factored into the stats I found.

Dennis Bergkamp enters running for Swansea City job

Dennis Bergkamp has emerged as a contender to fill the vacant manager's post at Swansea City.

The former Arsenal forward, who is Frank de Boer's assistant at Dutch champions Ajax, has shortened to 6/1 in the market this afternoon, according to Sky Sports News.

Swansea are looking for a new boss after Brendan Rodgers took over at Liverpool on Friday.

Bergkamp has in the past said that he could not see himself as a manager.

Speaking in 2011, he said: "I've never seen myself as a manager. You've to put all your time into the job and that would be hard for me."

The Welsh club are believed to have only contacted Wigan assistant Graeme Jones over the position but talks are thought to have broken down.

Hearing about it a lot on Twitter too and his odds have been slashed to make him favourite.

would be a welcome move if he takes over imo. We'll get a closer look if he can be the man to take over from Wenger when time comes.

Wow, Redknapp is just as delusional as spurs fans, he thinks it's a pity he's getting sacked cause he thinks spurs would have won the league within the next two years.......

wait for it.........
