Arsenal v Reading
Saturday 30th march
Kick off 3:00pm Emirates....
Early team news....
Arsenal's Abou Diaby will be out for up to nine months with a cruciate ligament injury suffered in training.
Theo Walcott (groin) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) are both sidelined, and Kieran Gibbs is a doubt with a virus.
Stats...
Head-to-head
Arsenal and Reading have already met twice this season, with the two games at the Madejski Stadium producing an incredible 19 goals. The Gunners won 7-5 to reach the Capital One Cup quarter-finals in October (despite being 4-0 down after 37 minutes), and then won 5-2 in the league in December. Arsenal have a 100% record against Reading, winning all 11 times they have met in league and cup.
Arsenal
Arsenal have won four of their last five Premier League matches. Among top-flight clubs, only leaders Manchester United have been in better form than Arsenal over their last eight league matches. The Gunners have led at half-time in seven Premier League matches this season - and have gone on to win them all. According to Opta, Arsenal have scored six goals on the counter-attack this season, more than any other club in the Premier League.
Reading
Reading have lost their last five Premier League matches. They have the worst away record in the top flight, earning just five points from a possible 45. The Royals have conceded 57 goals, more than any other Premier League side. Reading have the worst second-half record in the top flight; Arsenal have the best.
Well its back to the nitty gritty of the league...our position needs to be lifted using these often accounted for 'easy games' but we all know its arsenal...and no game is easy...what with the spuds playing Swansea who I might think will do us a favour and I hope they do..most of our boys will be coming back having some decent results in national squads...we need to nail this one dead in the first half...get the job done and onto the next..... Prediction 3-0 arsenal...

Re: Arsenal v Reading
Reading are now fighting for their lives, so the guys have to show up with the right mentality. Too much quality all over the place to win this game. I think our clean sheet streak will come to an end. 3-1 for us.

Re: Arsenal v Reading
Think this could be closer than a lot of people think. Reading will be up for it and want to impress their new manager. I'm off to the Emirates today for probably my last live match of the season (unless my friend has any other tickets open up), so fingers crossed they put in a performance.

Arsenal: Fabianski, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Rosicky, Arteta, Ramsey, Cazorla, Gervinho, Giroud
Poldi on the bench. He must be carrying a knock because he surely has to be ahead of Gervinho.

Gerv such a hot/cold player. One moment you're like, "wow, great work" then next moment you're, "wtf are you doing!?"... Really hope his decision making gets betterj
