Arsenal v West Ham
Arsenal v West Ham United
Barclays Premier League

so here we go again......
early team news...
on players returning...
We could have Podolski back in the squad because he is back to full training today. And maybe Oxlade-Chamberlain back in the squad because he has been sick. Maybe he will go out today and practise again.
on Podolski…
Yes he’s better. He was sick. He was in bed but I think he will be in full training today.
on players dropping out...
Coquelin is out because he has a hamstring problem from the Chelsea game. Everybody else has to be assessed individually but there is no major injury. Arteta is still out.
on Diaby…
Diaby is one of the guys I will have to check. You could see he was not completely physically fresh from the start on Sunday and he did dig deep to do what he did. He has played four games on the trot after being out for three months, so I will have to check him.
we need these three points...it was said the other day points need to gain forth spot based on last season...we would need to win 12 of our games remaining...and i feel its almost spot on...this is where the nitty griitty has to start for us..we need wins we need to grind out wins week in week out from now..forth spot is not beyond us but unlike last season its gonna be a whole lot harder to get there and stay there...

Re: Arsenal v West Ham
Arsène Wenger knows it is essential for Arsenal beat West Ham United on Wednesday night.
Victory for Wenger’s men will see them cut the gap to fourth-place Tottenham Hotspur to four points as the race for a Champions League spot intensifies.
After watching his side concede early goals in their last two Premier League matches, Wenger wants Arsenal to start well and capitalise on their game in hand.
“It is vital for us,” he told Arsenal Player.
“We are in a position where you are of course concerned by where we are. It’s very difficult to accept because you feel there is a lot of quality in the team but football is [about] efficiency and spirit of efficiency.
“You cannot test the water and then decide what you do. We have to start with full cylinders from the first minute.
“The quality is there. I always hope that it will strengthen the belief of our team. At the moment we have a battle on that front and hopefully we’ll sort that out very quickly.”

Re: Arsenal v West Ham
Looking at the results pattern of our current season we'll either smash them aside or not turn up for the first half and then give everything in the last 10 to try and salvage a point.

It's one of those guessing games...if he is in the squad..its a farewell game..and if not is he about to move...
Still leaves everyone in limbo...

Re: Arsenal v West Ham
I wish I could feel good about us but these days all I feel and expect is our impending doom and showers of shite like chelsea 1st half... Not helped of course by our seemingly paper thin squad right now.
Szczesny
Sagna-Mert-Verm-Gibbs
Diaby-wilshere
Cazorla
Walcott-Giroud-Poldi/Ox
What I think we'll putt out based on my knowledge of who's fit right now... That on paper is a really good team and should be beating anyone outside the top 5 or so easily, but that damn lax mentality we have until we go behind is so excruciatingly infuriating, needs to be sort out someway or another, and sooner rather than later... Hopefully we'll come out with some life in us tonight and smash them. Here's to 3points, COYG!

Agree with that lineup, Podolski will probably start to be subbed off, as usual, for Chambo. I'm feeling a win here, but nothing is ever for sure with this team.

For a change I would like to see chambo in a free roam around the center of play tonight..west ham are not the most fastest of teams and Walcott and ox running havoc through the middle could scare the shit out of them....and also maybe see giroud doing less work tracking back and long runs and sitting around the box i feel sometimes he works and covers to much ground he should not really be doing....not getting on his back at all...just would like to see more of an explosive instinctive game from him for once...than rather as I said kinda here there and everywhere man....

TEAM NEWS
Arsenal welcome back Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, both of whom missed Sunday's defeat at Chelsea through illness.
However, the Gunners are short of midfield options, with Abou Diaby doubtful (thigh) and Francis Coquelin (hamstring) ruled out.
West Ham have no fresh injury concerns, but Arsenal loanee Marouane Chamakh is ineligible to face his parent club.
James Collins is again expected to miss out because of a hamstring problem.
Phew!! Chamakh ineligible against us........for a moment there I was shitting it..lol...infact I don't know why they did not let him play its hardly goals we would worry about...lol infact it would be one less strike problem to worry about.... Hahaha....

quite confident we will win .. could use a cheer and really agree with most when this is one of those games we need to win ... the top four point gap is getting longer n longer ..

Couple of times down the where we could have capitalized on some sloppy play from West Ham.

Damn it Giroud really needs to find some belief in himself, you're the main striker for goodness sake man, take those chances yourself!
