Why the hell take off an attacking option...this early on?!?!?! Give it at least 10 mins...fuck sake!!!

Hardly justice - we are a man down with 80 minutes to play.

Fucking ruined the day / week / month.

Was the last man, only following the letter of the law. Still bullshit though, ruin the game so early, could've given a yellow with common sense...

What do you mean justice? Certain penalty and if in the ref's opinion the foul has denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity then he's within his rights to give the red, whether we think it's harsh or not.

Dropping Mertesacker never seems to work out well!

I would've taken off Theo, as his defensive contribution is non-existent. The Ox would have offered more in the time remaining. Shame that there's no Rosicky on the bench.

Priority is to make sure the side has a reasonable defensive shape when down to ten men. The only question is which player to take off.

Oh dear, it doesn't rain but it pours.

I thought we used to regularly work on playing with ten men in training because we were so used to being down to ten men...

No wait that was ten years ago.

Now we don't seem to work on anything in training. We lack defensive shape and organisation, this is going to be a long match.

The sad part is the entire world knows this Arsenal team does not have the balls to stage a fight back.

Few years back we were always still in it even with a man down.

The way I see it you go down to 10 men...its only a matter of time til they score...why not have a 10-15 before that and try and get a goal.....

If its not working then so be it...

Diaby's been on brain dead mode most of thr game, sloppy play all the time, he's being a liability to us right now... Perhaps this game came a bit too soon for him...

So - anyone on the pitch who can drag this team back?

Vermaelen? Sagna? Walcott?

Difficult to look beyond these three - and Vermaelen and Sagna haven't been having the best of seasons either.

That id one of our most notable problems(outside our defence), no player of such quality...

Greater desire all over the pitch from City for the 2nd goal despite being a man up.
