How the fuck can we miss that??

Giroud took up a really good position, Gervinho should have cut it back to him a little earlier.

wilshere just missed from 3 yards into an open net and you are complaining about a cut back that didnt happen? Gervinho put it on a plate for Jack, he should have scored

Former Arsenal and England defender Martin Keown on Final Score:
"When you see the Arsenal penalty decision from the side, there is no way it is a penalty. But, when you see it from the angle the referee saw it, you can see why the referee gave it against West Brom.

"Cazorla did make the most of Reid's challenge, it is not good to see. He has conned the referee and has gotten away with it."

Yes. He should have played it earlier to Giroud. The reason he delayed it is because he is so indecisive.

Maybe someone else should start taking our corners.

It seems to me that Giroud, at that point, was still jogging gingerly and he didn't trust that Giroud would be able to do anything with it.

The positives :

We didn't concede after scoring.

We could have had 4 or 5.

Eric Wynalda is such a sanctimonious prick, saying a German player got suspended for 8 weeks for diving ,so Cazorla should get the same...

Gervinho is his usual indecisive, frustrating self. Giroud was in a far better position to score than Jack was, he should have cut it back earlier. That's why everyone is moaning.

Our crossing is abysmal. Nothing new there.

Despite all this (and the dive) we seem to be doing well and attacking with some purpose, I'm enjoying this game far more than our previous 3-4.

Playing relatively well here. Don't know why people are complaining about Gervais's cut back for Jack. Jack should have simply scored that and Gervinho is one of our best players today despite being undecisive. We should have had a 2 goal lead by now, but at least we are creating chances and not letting them create anything.

But Gervinho created a chance that Jack should have scored from 3 yards instead of making a cut back. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If Jack scored would we be complaining that he didn't cut it back?

How is a ball cut backwards to Giroud easier to score than an empty net from three yards?

He could have created a better chance though. I don't see why Jack 'should have scored there, he was running full pelt, stretched out and barely managed to prod the ball, whereas Giroud was all set up to strike.
