3 points!!
Clean sheet.
2 controversial penalties but could have had many more.
MotM - Jack Wilshere.

Happy with the win, but my god, our finishing was dreadful. How the hell did Podolski miss that chance at the end?

Wasn't pretty? Are you kidding?
Anyway, best performance of the season by miles, great football, could have finished 4 or 5 nil.

The good thing was that we were in complete control, and that we were at least finding ways to get forward. Now we need to actually make the most of those opportunities.

Still lacking that "finishing communication", but I'll take it.
Cazorla's going to have to watch it now, I'm betting there will be legitimate calls he won't get because of the dive.

It's not simply a question of bringing in new heads, at least 4 different players on the pitch today had good opportunities to score today, it is important that they collectively learn to put away the chances created

On another note, why isn't Mannone in the bench anymore?

Because he's only just a little better than having Almunia in goal.

Re: Arsenal vs West Brom
There were many positives today. We played very well, created chances, defended well and I think gave away only one shot on target, Jack Wishere was brilliant, everyone showed hunger and desire to win, Rosicky's and Arteta's hair was in perfect shape, etc... We have to be more clinical though. Gervinho played well, but the header and that miss kick were absolutely terrible, then you have Jack's and Poldi's chances, how did we manage not to score from those positions? Anyway, it's been a while since we last saw us attacking well and defending well at the same time so let's enjoy this win.

I agree. Against a West Brom side who have done well this season 2-0 is a good result. We never really looked too troubled at the back and we created a lot of chances. Wilshere (still not fit) and Podolski (never easy coming on as a sub) missed a big one each but Gervinho is yet again the main culprit in missing good opportunities, but he had a decent game overall.
Considering some people thought we'd be beat before the game began 2-0 in a game we controlled is a good result.

Despite the controversy surrounding our first goal, as you rightly point out West Brom hardly troubled us. The major plus point was the number of chances we created.
