not too sure what to make of that half...good going forward..just guilty of slowing it down in front of goal taking too long and poor touches..

yeah I know, we failed as a team at that corner, just meant some people will see it as ammunition for Mannone bashing.

we were to far back giving the keeper no place to jump and react nobody picked up on lescott and yaya being in a blinding place to get on the end of the corner....mannone at least was the only person that tried to stop it just got hounded out and ended up flapping at it..arteta could have stopped that too...

Rubbish, how can you fail as a team at any one corner?

Not all eleven players are called upon to do their job at a single corner.

Why would people need ammunition for Mannone bashing either? He has faults that are all too clear, why bother beating around the bush about that.

The performance is OK but the manner in which we conceded the goal is all too familiar.

what do you mean how can you fail as a team at one corner?!?!

most are called upon and we had 8 in the area for that corner not including the keeper...nobody made a decent attempt at getting hold of the ball..the only one who came for anything with conviction was the keeper...

Called upon to do their job yes but inevitably certain players are directly responsible for the goal, not all 11, or even 8.

so the guy on the post nor the 6 in line which the cross floated towards??

might as well say that gibbs was just as much as at fault for putting the ball behind when he could have left it....

Even God had one day off. Arteta's brilliant form since he has joined us has maybe placed everyone's expectations of him a bit high.

I've been really impressed with Jenkinson/Per today.
