I think the timing was bad - it coincided with the huge spending of Chelsea and then Man City, while we were financially crippled throughout this crazy period. But no real way to foresee that.

Agree. Had we shifted to the Emirates a couple years before than we did, things could have been a bit different. But without dwelling in the 'ifs' and 'buts', the move is definitely worth it in the long run.

Highbury was our want, Emirates Stadium is our need.

If there was ever any doubt that shifting stadium was good. According to forbes we're forth most valuable football club in the world, behind only United, Real and Barca and ahead of legendary clubs like Beyern, Milan and Liverpool, infact we're more than twice the value of Liverpool.

Now, if we could only start winning trophies and increasing our worldwide commercial revenue then we could even climb higher. No doubt that of we had stayed at Highbury that we might've won some trophies along the way, but our value would be down there as well. Think it speaks volumes about the wonderful job Wenger has done with our club and where he has taken is despite npt winning anything for several years now and also that we still are a big club, we just need some more ambition from our current owners.
