Not only that, they've also been very unconvincing against teams you'd really expect them to beat at home. 5 of those draws have come against Stoke, Norwich, Blackburn, Swansea and Sunderland. You have to question the decision to play 5-4-1 at home today, and to have Kuyt up front on his own, when he's barely played as a striker all season, and hasn't scored in a long time. Esp. when Bellamy and Carroll were on the bench. Can't figure that one out.

Turned out being 7 in midfield and 3 at the back against a team parking the bus and a lone striker... very odd tactics, what does it say about the 35m donkey they have on the bench too?

I don't care if City win all their matches from now on except against us. I'd rather have them win the League than anyone else.

Nothing really stands out today.

Wolves Villa tends to be a few goals and cards though

From the BBC:
''News on on-loan Wolves midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, who you might remember was stretchered off after being accidentally kicked in the head at Molineux today. The Arsenal man has been taken to hospital with what are described as "serious facial injuries". Fingers crossed he makes a swift recovery.''

What the hell happened to him?

The Frimpong incident looked horrific. Hope he comes out okay.

In other news Fulham and Newcastle made for an interesting showing. Nice weekend, plenty of good matches.

1752: More Emmanuel Frimpong news now, and it isn't good. According to BBC WM, Wolves' on-loan midfielder has fractured a cheekbone and will be out for three months.

Could be bloody worse. 3 months is bad, but at least his eye is ok. Broken cheekbone > one eyed footballer. And its not an ankle injury or something which will have serious repercussions. Still, gutted for him. The Wolves fans loved him.
