Carlos Tevez
I think what is happening with him is unprecedented. I can't think of another example. And I'm loving it.
He thinks he can play people and football clubs like toys.
And Man City are not taking it, and slowly driving his spirit into the ground.

How long does his contract last? I bet they're gonna try and keep him for all of it, they don't really need the money they could make on him.

Re: Carlos Tevez
I hope they do keep him and stop him playing as long as possible.
A transfer to Milan would be a joke. 'Homesick' my ass.

Re: Carlos Tevez
Agree, I like how City haven't stood down against him and are making him look like a tool. He thought that after being (arguably) their best player for a year or so they'd try to move the earth to keep him, but they haven't. They replaced him, are in a title race and he is becoming forgotten. Tevez has come out of this looking like a spoilt brat, I am sure his agent isn't helping the situation either.
He is still picking up a huge wages every week though so.... bastard...

Re: Carlos Tevez
I think in a recent report I read him saying he wanted to try and work things out with City. Shows how desperate he's getting.

I agree that his agent is probably a big part of all this. I think Tevez is pretty dumb, and would be a sucker for any seed planted by the agent.
Also, in this ESPN Soccernet article it says that City are trying to fine him 1.2m pounds for his absence since November. So hopefully Tevez is out of pocket also.
I imagine Tevez is the kind of guy that will look back on his life with many regrets.

Re: Carlos Tevez
Apparently he wants in on the run in of the title race and apparently Mancini wouldn't mind having him back...

He's back at City now. Interesting to see how this develops because it still seems like he feels he didn't do anything wrong. I hope City don't play him at all this season and send him to train with the their youth squad like they did Adebayor.

In the meantime, the war of words continues between mancini and tevez with mancini saying "if anything i treated him too well" in response to the "he treated me like a dog"

I feel sorry for Mancini, if anything. I hope he comes out of this having handled it well and is able to hold his head high.
I don't think Tevez is so much a troublemaker or unprofessional as just really really REALLY thick. Add to that a greedy agent and you have a recipe for disaster.

Re: Carlos Tevez
Whatever he has done in the past, I'd grab him without 2nd thoughts in the summer. People can change, as RVP has shown. Who better than wenger to get the best out of a player. and if we have RVP, Tevez and Podolski firing on all cylinders, we'll blow Europe apart next season. But Wenger wont bid for him though.

Not a chance, he clearly isn't happy in England. Plus, we could never afford him.
